Porter Township Heritage Days Festival

Recreation Park, 35 Washington Ave., Howard (corner of Washington Ave. & Rte. 64, Lamar). 10am-7pm. A fun-filled day for the whole family - food & craft vendors, a corn hole tournament at 12:30pm, live music (Wes Lomison Band on stage from noon-2pm; Alley J. Band from 4-6pm), kids games/activities including a tractor pull, a magician, a storyteller, ice cream making, petting zoo, dunk tank, Civil War encampment with cannon firing, barrel train rides, chainsaw carving, and more. The festival ends with fireworks at 9:15pm at 6500 Nittany Valley Dr. (across from Dotterer Equipment on Rt. 64), Mill Hall. Sponsored by the Porter Twp. Heritage Days Committee.
