'American Recycles Day' Recycling Event

The LHU Facilities Department hosts this one-day, open to the public event. Items from home that can be brought in for recycling include: bi-metal & aluminum cans; plastics (1-7); office paper (magazines, junk mail, catalogs, glossy paper, phone books); newspaper; corrugated cardboard (broken down); car batteries; alkaline batteries (must be scotch taped on both ends); household electronics (computers, printers, televisions, VCR’s, cell phones, stereos, DVD players); appliances; scrap metal; used motor oil; tires (removed from rims).
