Clinton County Conservation District Tree Sale

BIG CHANGES COMING FOR THE CLINTON COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT’S ANNUAL TREE SALE
For 47 years, the Clinton County Conservation District has held an annual tree sale. In past years, residents had to pre-order their trees. This year the District will make trees available during a series of “shopping” days. You’ll simply come and shop for your trees and take them with you that day. The trees and shrubs listed below will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis ONLY, NO pre-orders will be accepted.
The varieties of seedlings available this year include: Colorado Blue Spruce (10-18”), American Arborvitae (18”-24”), Black Chokeberry (24”-36”), White Flowering Dogwood (18”-24”), American Sycamore (24”-36”), Persimmon (18”-24”), Swamp White Oak (24”-36”), Spicebush (24”-36”), Tulip Poplar (24”-36”), Red Oak (24”-36”) and American Elderberry (24”-36”). Trees will be sold in bundles of 5 for $12.00.
APPLE TREES: Apple Trees in bundles of two (1 Crimson Crisp & 1 Super Chief) for $45.00. These apple trees are all approximately 4-6 feet tall.
The “shopping” dates will be Wednesday May 1st through Friday May 3rd from 10:00 A.M. until 2:30 P.M. and Saturday May 4th from 9 A.M. until 3 PM., at the Clinton County Conservation District office, located at: 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall (located along Route 64 North of Lamar) in the Mary Ann Bower Learning Center.
Proceeds from tree seedling sales are used to fund various educational programs, such as school booklets and 6th Grade Field Days.
