General info

Our work: Clinton County CleanScapes (CCC) is a community-based and stewardship driven 501(c)(3) federal tax exempt organization whose mission is to help communities cleanup and restore public waterways and landscapes in our service areas of Clinton and Lycoming Counties. CCC began in 2000 and has successfully completed over 121 community cleanup events, trained 4,468 youth and citizen action volunteers and provided technical planning and assistance during flood recovery operations. We plan 4-6 community cleanup events every year. Since 2000 our volunteers have removed over 2,427,100 lbs. of man-made refuse, 13,094 tires and 49,245 lbs. of metal from our local waterways and landscapes.

Our history: CCC is an independent affiliate member of the state-wide organization recognized as Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful (KPB). KPB is the state affiliate to Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. Together we empower citizens and youth to make our communities clean and beautiful. Our long-term goal is to provide residents, businesses and visitors safer, cleaner, and more viable public spaces to live in and explore!

Our needs: Grassroots based non-profit event successes are made possible through the kindness and generosity provided by our partners and volunteers. But we have unavoidable financial obligations such as annual liability insurance policy payments, computer system and office operations, roll-off dumpster rental and tipping fees, supplies for volunteers... CleanScapes annual operational expenses exceed $16,000. Support CleanScapes work, our volunteers, and restore the natural beauty of our public spaces by becoming a community cleanup event sponsor. Sponsorships begin at $100. To learn more visit www.cleanscapes-ncpa.com or contact CleanScapes Project Director Elisabeth Lynch McCoy at 570.726.3511. “CleanScapes Works!” [IRS EIN #16-1746268]
