Agricultural Safety Fair

10am-1pm. Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital’s Level IV Trauma Center and a number of partners host specialized injury prevention information and education geared toward the agricultural and emergency services communities but open to all. Topics, demos and training cover all age groups from pediatrics to adults and include a grain simulator; stop-the-bleed training; bicycle, pedestrian and ATV safety; pediatric farm safety; firearm safety; tractor safety; seatbelt and school bus safety; and more. Free Admission. Other participating groups include Penn State Extension, PennDOT, Geisinger Medical Center Trauma, Central Mountains ATV Association, and Good Will Ambulance Company.
