We are a professional, not for profit agency, designated to promote all the assets of Clinton County and our state / regional marketing partnership. To help us accomplish our goals we work with a number of related agencies throughout the state.

The Pennsylvania Tourism Office is our partner in promoting the Pennsylvania Brand. We are committed to promoting Pennsylvania as a unique and fun-filled travel destination, encouraging overnight stays.
The PA Tourism goals include; instill interest in and awareness of Pennsylvania destinations to travelers. Implement effective marketing campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders and partners to position Pennsylvania as a top tourism destination.
PA Tourism’s objectives include; increase overnight stays, spending and visitation. Broaden the perception of Pennsylvania as a travel destination and leverage industry resources and statewide partnerships to create larger impact and help get the message out.
Clinton County Visitor Bureau is the officially designated industry partner with DCED.

PACVB - Pennsylvania Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus

The Pennsylvania Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus seeks to maximize the professionalism of its members and to communicate to the general public, governmental officials, and other appropriate audiences, the importance of travel, tourism and hospitality industry to the Commonwealth's economic wellness. The PACVB was founded in 1972. It is the not-for-profit organization for the officially designated tourist promotion agencies (TPAs) within Pennsylvania.
The PACVB provides educational, marketing and communications services, plus governmental affairs representation to its membership. The association has an active governmental affairs program, which includes a full-time registered lobbyist who advances the mission of the association to the legislative and executive branches of state government as well as county elected officials.

PTLA- Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association

The PTLA is the leading trade association whose mission is to promote and protect the interests of the hospitality and tourism industry in Pennsylvania. We also serve as the member state association for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). The PTLA was established in 1981 and is governed by a 36-member Board of Directors and has more than 600 state-wide members.
The Pennsylvania Tourism & Lodging Association exists to advocate, support, promote and enhance the tourism and lodging industry within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We seek to be inclusive and provide lobbying, education and professional development opportunities, information and other resources as well as value-adding services to our members to ensure the industry’s growth and success.

The Pennsylvania Wilds

The PA Wilds was formed in 2003 by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), as a program to encourage growth of tourism in north-central Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Wilds Tourism Marketing Corporation promotes the growth of visitation and related-businesses in the 12 counties located in north central Pennsylvania. The corporation is comprised of eight Tourist Promotion Agencies (TPAs) responsible for marketing the Pennsylvania Wilds and their respective regions.
The primary goal of the Pennsylvania Wilds Tourism Marketing Corporation is to establish a strong coalition of public and private partners with the goal of branding the Pennsylvania Wilds as the premier destination for outdoor experiences in the eastern United States.
Clinton County Visitors Bureau is a member of the Pennsylvania Wilds Region.

Lumber Heritage Region

The Lumber Heritage Region of Pennsylvania is one of the 12 Heritage Areas in Pennsylvania. Their charge is to preserve, relate, and enhance the history and heritage of the people and their relationship with the Pennsylvania Forests. Designated in 2001, LHR is the largest of the state’s 12 heritage areas with 15 counties and works collaboratively with stakeholders in the region to produce quality products and to enhance existing assets that will enrich the visitor’s experience and impact the quality of life of its local citizenry. Clinton County is a member of this heritage region.


Keystone Mountain Country
The Keystone Mountain Country (KMC) is a regional partnership formed by Potter, Tioga, Lycoming, and Clinton Counties to promote the many shared outdoor recreation attractions of north central Pennsylvania. The KMC is geologically part of the Allegheny Plateau, the high ground that comprises the north central mountains. They are characterized by steep slopes and deep gorges with rocky creeks down the low points called “runs” by locals. Oak and other hardwoods predominate, but some areas have been heavily replanted with pine. The thick woods conceal deer, eagles, turkeys, bears, bobcats and other wildlife. It’s an outdoors-lover’s paradise. Clinton County Visitors Bureau is a member of this regional partnership.
TLC Marketing Group
Tioga, Lycoming and Clinton Counties (TLC) have partnered together to promote our area assets to the group tour / motor coach industry. We have packaged ourselves as a group tour destination – providing descriptions and itineraries covering our three counties while attending industry marketplaces. This partnership also works on other joint projects and advertising placement.
