Great Island Adventure Triathlon
Come “tri” a great adventure in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds! The second annual “Great Island Adventure Triathlon” is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008, just outside of Lock Haven, Clinton County. The overall 23-mile course takes participants along the beautiful West Branch of the Susquehanna River for a kayak/canoe paddle, followed by a bicycle road course along country roads full of grueling ups and downs and hairpin turns. The final leg of the event is a run along Lock Haven’s scenic levee riverwalk. The Triathlon gets underway at 8:00 a.m. Pre-registration through June 20th is only $35 per person (individuals and teams welcome).
